Building upon the established H4 connector, this advanced version offers enhanced durability, Amphenol-compatible mating, and Amphenols low resistance RADSOK contact technology. It supports wire gauges from 14AWG/2.5mm to 8AWG/10mm and boasts an IP68 rating. Key improvements include a ratcheting gland back nut to prevent backspin, an enhanced sealing grommet for superior wet leakage performance, and optimized contact design for long-term stability. The design minimizes part count and generates cost savings through features like gland nuts, environmental gaskets, wire-retention collets, and multi-gauge contacts. It is NEC Code Compliant, eliminating the need for a separate locking sleeve for UL certification.
