Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is a prefabricated (box-type) substation?
It is a compact substation that combines the high-voltage switchgear, transformer and low-voltage distribution equipment into one factory-built, pre-wired enclosure, delivered ready for on-site installation.
What voltage and capacity ratings are available?
The HV unit is rated 12 kV, the LV unit 400 V, and the transformer capacity ranges from 30 to 2000 kVA.
What does IP23 mean?
IP23 means the enclosure protects against solid objects larger than 12.5 mm and against water spray, making it suitable for typical outdoor installations.
What is the "five-prevention" function?
It is a set of five anti-misoperation interlocks on the high-voltage side (e.g. preventing opening/closing under load, closing while earthed, entering a live compartment) that protect operators during maintenance.
What is the noise level?
The substation operates at a sound level of 55 dB or below.
