BSI BS EN 1869 2019 Silicone Coated Fire Blankets For Emergency Flame Protection And Domestic Kitchen Fire Safety
Wingsec Fire Blanket Introduction
There are times in life when you need the expertise and equipment to extinguish a fire. Accidents can happen at any time, whether in the kitchen, in your car, or at home. Industrial buildings, like private homes, require proper fire safety equipment; the destructive power of fire can cause significant damage and even death.
If a kitchen fire breaks out, a fire blanket is extremely useful. It's recommended to have one nearby so you can extinguish the fire before it spreads. Even if the fire is intense, never pour water on the stove or pots. Placing a fire blanket over the fire can quickly dampen the flames and prevent them from spreading further.
Fire blankets are also useful in other situations, such as when someone's clothing catches fire. Simply wrapping the person in the blanket can prevent further harm.
Fire blankets are made of non-flammable material and are an important safeguard against accidental fires. It's best to keep one in your home or kitchen.
