What is your minimum order quantity?
For laser cut prototypes, 100 pieces. For progressive die stamped production, 5,000 pieces minimum. We'll advise on the most cost-effective manufacturing method for your volume.
Can you make prototypes before building stamping dies?
Yes. We laser cut and CNC bend prototypes from the same sheet material and thickness. The prototype matches the final stamped part geometry for design validation.
What thickness can you stamp?
Standard range is 0.3mm to 3.0mm in stainless steel. Up to 6.0mm for simpler geometries on heavier tonnage presses.
How does stamped cost compare to CNC machining?
At low volumes (under 5,000), CNC or laser cutting is cheaper. At 10,000+ pieces, stamping is typically 40-60% less per piece. We'll provide a cost comparison for your specific part and quantity.
Can you add tapped holes to stamped parts?
Yes. CNC tapping after stamping is a standard secondary operation for us. We can also install PEM inserts, weld studs, and other threaded fasteners.
Do you provide IATF 16949 documentation?
Yes. PPAP, control plans, PFMEA, and SPC data for automotive qualification. Full material traceability on every production run.
