M10 M12 High Strength Hex Bolt Nut Washer Zinc-Plated Grade 10.9 12.9 Customised
Product Description:
Galvanising is a surface treatment technique whereby a layer of zinc is deposited on the surface of a metal, alloy or other material to provide aesthetic appeal and to prevent rusting. The main method used is hot-dip galvanising.
Zinc is soluble in acids and alkalis, so it is called an amphoteric metal. Zinc hardly changes in dry air. In humid air, a dense film of alkaline zinc carbonate is formed on the surface of zinc. In containing sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and marine atmosphere, zinc corrosion resistance is poor, especially in the high temperature and high humidity containing organic acid atmosphere, zinc coating is very easy to be corroded. The standard electrode potential of zinc is -0.76V, for the steel substrate, zinc plating belongs to the anodic plating, which is mainly used to prevent corrosion of steel, the advantages and disadvantages of its protective properties and the thickness of the plating is very large. Zinc coating can significantly improve its protective and decorative properties after passivation treatment, dyeing or coating with gloss protection agent.
Applications
1,Vibration Resistance
- Due to their strong structure and tight threading, hex bolts offer excellent vibration resistance, making them suitable for environments with heavy vibration or shocks, ensuring a secure connection.
2,Resistant to Environmental Changes
- Stainless steel and galvanized hex bolts can withstand harsh outdoor environments, including exposure to marine conditions and chemicals. Their anti-corrosive and oxidation-resistant properties provide long-lasting performance.
3,Aesthetic and Functional
- Hex bolts, especially stainless steel varieties, offer a smooth, polished appearance, making them ideal for applications where aesthetics matter, such as in architectural designs and decorative structures.
Hex bolts are indispensable in various industrial and consumer applications due to their strength, versatility, and ease of use. They provide reliable and durable fastening solutions across multiple sectors.
Generally required chromium content of 18% or more, nickel content of 8% or more, because of its good corrosion resistance, heat resistance and other advantages, often used in food processing, storage and transport, or applied to agriculture, auto parts, building materials, chemical industry, etc., is the most widely used stainless steel, accounting for almost more than half of the total production of stainless steel. 316 stainless steel generally require chromium content of more than 16%, nickel content of more than 10%, molybdenum content of more than 2%, nickel and molybdenum, the two alloying elements of the proportion of the enhancement, so that it has a better resistance to (acid) corrosion, welding performance, and so on, and therefore have a higher price, in the medical and surgical, fine industrial components, etc. to play a greater use.
