Material Characteristics
Aluminum AL6063: Known for excellent extrusion capabilities and surface finish. Ideal for architectural and structural applications. Requires regular cleaning with non-abrasive cleaners and protective coatings for outdoor use.
6063 plate is a kind of aluminium-magnesium-silicon aluminium alloy material, belonging to low alloying high-plasticity alloy, mainly used in construction, transportation and other fields that require complex cross-section shape profile processing. The material has excellent extrusion properties and can be moulded into thin-walled, hollow and other complex structures.
As a heat treatment strengthened alloy, it has a wide range of quenching temperature and low sensitivity, and can be quenched by water spray or wind quenching. The material has good ductility, outstanding welding performance and corrosion resistance, no stress corrosion cracking tendency, and the surface is easy to anodic oxidation and colouring treatment. The main chemical composition of the aluminium matrix, containing silicon, magnesium and other elements, tensile strength ≥ 205MPa, yield strength ≥ 170MPa. the plate in the quenching if room temperature parking will reduce the strength, there is a problem of parking effects
