The anchor bolts are generally made of Q235 steel, which is smooth and round. Rebar (Q345) has high strength, but it is not as easy to make threaded nuts as smooth and round ones. For round anchor bolts, the burial depth is generally 25 times their diameter, with a 90-degree hook about 120mm long at the end.
Bolts are cylindrical threaded fasteners consisting of a head and screw, designed to be fitted with a nut for fastening two parts with through holes. This detachable connection is essential in various industrial applications.
| Industry | Usage |
|---|---|
| Automotive | High-strength applications in engines, heavy-duty machinery, and bridge construction |
| Mechanical | Connecting mechanical parts, circuit boards, engines, transmissions, and building structures |
| Energy | Connecting power generation equipment and transmission lines |
| Architectural | Building structures, shipbuilding, and petrochemical equipment |
| Material | Characteristics |
|---|---|
| Aluminum | Excellent thermal/electrical conductivity but soft, may produce gelatinous buildup |
| Titanium | Requires EDM machining with deionized water to control heat |
| Steel | Very strong, generates significant heat during processing |
| Brass | High tensile strength but requires slow cutting speed |
