This custom CNC machined riveting die is designed for automated riveting stations used in automotive component assembly, sheet metal joining and industrial hardware production. Its shaped working face contacts the rivet tail during the forming cycle, while the locating shank aligns the tool with the riveting head.
D2 tool steel can provide wear resistance when the appropriate heat treatment and final finishing are applied. The forming profile must match the specified rivet material, shank diameter and final head geometry to avoid incomplete forming or excessive deformation.
Before production, confirm the rivet drawing, required head profile, forming force, machine holder interface and heat treatment requirements. Critical checks include the forming face profile, shank diameter, concentricity and dimensional changes after heat treatment.
