Description

This custom CNC machined PEEK alignment plate is designed for automated clinical chemistry analyzers and laboratory sample preparation equipment, where pipette probes repeatedly transfer samples and reagents between tubes, reagent containers and reaction vessels. The guide bores help maintain the specified probe positions and provide clearance during vertical movement.

PEEK offers good machinability, chemical resistance in many laboratory environments and useful dimensional stability. The material grade must be selected according to the cleaning agents, operating temperature and equipment requirements.

Before production, confirm the probe outside diameter, guide bore clearance, center to center spacing, plate thickness, mounting datums and required flatness. These dimensions should match the probe travel path and prevent interference with nearby containers. For equipment used in regulated laboratory environments, cleanliness requirements and material traceability should be defined by the customer.
