Application fields

Sodium sulfate is mainly used as a filler in synthetic detergents. A cooking agent used in the paper industry for manufacturing sulfate pulp. It is used in the glass industry as a substitute for soda ash. The chemical industry uses it as a raw material for manufacturing sodium sulfide, sodium silicate and other chemical products. It is used in the textile industry to prepare the coagulation bath for vinylon spinning. It is used as a laxative in the pharmaceutical industry. It is also used in non-ferrous metallurgy, leather and other fields

It enables the hydration product calcium sulfoaluminate to form more rapidly, thereby accelerating the hydration and hardening speed of cement. The dosage of sodium sulfate is generally 0.5% to 2% of the cement mass. It can increase the early strength of concrete by 50% to 100%. The 28-day strength sometimes increases and sometimes decreases, with an increase of about 10%, which varies with the type of cement, curing conditions and dosage. Clinically, it is mainly used for constipation of the large intestine, elimination of intestinal toxins, and expulsion of parasites, etc
