1 Equipment Introduction
The twin-screw frame wire-cutter is a wire-cutting device driven by two synchronized ball screws, moving the cutting frame vertically to slice wet clay, shale or coal-gangue bricks to exact length.

2 Application in Clay Brick Plant
  Positioned downstream of the extruder, it converts the continuous clay column into uniform brick blanks before stacking, drying and firing.

3 Function
  The high-rigidity twin-screw drive ensures all cutting wires move simultaneously at identical speed and position, giving synchronous, distortion-free cuts.

4. Comparison with Synchronous Cutter
| Item | Twin-Screw Frame | Synchronous Cutter |
| Drive | Mechanical twin screws | Servo motor + linkage |
| Wire qty | Up to 20 wires, single break replaceable | Usually fixed set |
| Wire-break protection | Single break continues running | Requires full stop |
| Maintenance | Modular quick change | Complex linkage adjustment |

5 Cutting Advantages
  • If one wire breaks, the rest keep working-non-stop production;
  • Cutting accuracy ≤ ±1 mm with clean edges;
  • Modular frame allows full wire set change in 10 min;
  • Wear-resistant screws last ≥30,000 h maintenance-free.

6 Key Specifications
  • Max cutting width: 1,200 mm
  • Cutting frequency: 15-45 cuts/min (VFD adjustable)
  • Installed power: 11 kW
  • Brick types: solid, perforated, hollow and pavers
