Sodium Benzoate Granular/Granule White Granular Food Grade Preservatives

Description:

As a food additive, it is bacteriostatic and fungistatic under acidic conditions. It is most widely used in acidic foods such as salad dressings (vinegar), carbonated drinks (carbonic acid), jams and fruit juices (citric acid) pickles (vinegar), and condiments. It is also used as a preservative in medicines and cosmetics.

Widely used as preservative in foodstuff, pharmaceutical, tavacco industries, also used as the internedaite of dyestuff

In food industry, mainly used in soy, vinegar, fruit juice, souce, fruit syrup, canned food, grape wine, fruit wine, agar soft sweets, light sparkling wine, soda waters and beverage.

Pharmaceutical applications

Used as a treatment for urea cycle disorders due to its ability to bind amino acids. Sodium benzoate is used to treat hyperammonemia.
