Product Description
E308LT0-3 flux-cored wire is a welding material designed for stainless steel welding, mainly used for welding austenitic stainless steel, such as 304 stainless steel. It has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion, is suitable for surface surfacing with low requirements, and can be welded with ferrous materials.
1. Features and Applications
High-efficiency welding: Due to its self-protected flux core design, it does not require external gas protection and is easy to operate.
Good wind resistance: Suitable for use in windy environments, reducing interference during welding.
Wide range of application: Especially suitable for welding of stainless steel thin plate structures, especially in occasions where the working temperature is below 300℃, it shows good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
2. Composition and performance
Fluoride component: The fluoride in the flux core has an important influence on welding spatter. Mixed fluorides (such as sodium fluoride, magnesium fluoride, barium fluoride, and calcium fluoride mixed in a ratio of 1:1:2:6) can effectively reduce welding spatter.
Oxide surface tension: The increase in oxide surface tension will first reduce the welding spatter rate, but too high will increase it. When the surface tension is (330-340)×10^(-7) J/cm^2, the spatter rate is the lowest.
