Introduction:

Pentamethyldiethylenetriamine is a colorless to light yellow clear liquid, easily soluble in water. It is a highly active catalyst for polyurethane reactions, mainly catalyzing foaming reactions, and is also used to balance overall foaming and gel reactions. It is widely used in various polyurethane rigid foams, including polyisocyanurate sheet rigid foams. The production methods of pentamethyldiethylenetriamine include formaldehyde formic acid method and formaldehyde hydrogenation method.

Uses:

It is mainly used as an important raw material intermediate for the synthesis of sulfonylurea herbicides, pesticides, and pharmaceutical chemicals. It is also a high-quality acylating agent in chemical industries such as polyamide, chemical cold light agents, and liquid crystals. Pentamethyldiethylenetriamine can be used as a high-efficiency catalyst for polyurethane soft foams.
