Introduction:

Sodium acetate is also known as sodium acetate. It is a colorless, odorless, transparent monoclinic columnar crystal, or white crystalline powder., weatherable in the air, flammable. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol. The melting point of sodium acetate trihydrate is 58°C, the relative density is 1.45, and the autoignition point is 607.2°C. Three molecules of water are removed at 123°C. The melting point of anhydrous sodium acetate is 324°C, and the relative density is 1.528.

Uses:

Anhydrous sodium acetate can be used as an esterifying agent in organic synthesis, as well as photographic drugs, medicines, printing and dyeing mordants, buffers, chemical reagents, meat preservation, pigments, and many other aspects. It can be used to prepare various chemical products, such as furan acrylic acid, acetate, and chloroacetic acid. As a buffer for seasonings, this product can prevent discoloration and has a certain anti-mildew effect. It can also be used as an acidulant for seasoning sauces, sauerkraut, mayonnaise, fish cakes, sausages, bread, rice cakes, etc.
