Cocamidopropylamine Oxide (CAO) is a weak cationic amphoteric surfactant, appearing as a pale yellow, clear liquid. It produces rich, dense foam with excellent foam stabilization, strong thickening ability, and is soft and antistatic. It is mild and non-irritating, resistant to acids and alkalis, and possesses good emulsifying, degreasing, detergency, wetting, antibacterial, and deodorizing properties. It can be compounded with various raw materials and is widely used in shampoos, body washes, dishwashing liquids, foaming detergents, and disinfectant washing formulations.
