Sodium Diisopropyl Dithiophosphate
Product Description
Sodium diisopropyl dithiophosphate is a highly efficient flotation collector for sulfide ores. This brown oily liquid contains 49% to 53% sodium O,O-di-isopropyldithiophosphate as its active ingredient, with a pH range of 10.0 to 13.0. The reagent offers excellent chemical stability and water solubility, enabling rapid, uniform mixing with pulp at room temperature. As a superior selective collector, it is particularly effective for flotation separation of precious and non-ferrous metal sulfide ores, including gold, silver, copper, and zinc minerals.

Characteristics & Applications
- Demonstrates excellent selective collection for gold, silver, copper, and zinc sulfide minerals through stable chemical adsorption with metal ions on mineral surfaces, enhancing hydrophobicity and mineral-bubble attachment efficiency.
- Exhibits weak collecting power for iron sulfide minerals (pyrite, pyrrhotite) in alkaline environments, enabling effective separation from target minerals and improved concentrate quality.
- Provides moderate frothing properties that maintain stable foam structure without excessive foaming, preventing operational issues like launder overflow.
- Maintains stable collecting performance across wide alkaline pH ranges, making it suitable for complex polymetallic sulfide ores.
Key Advantages
- Highly efficient collection capacity for precious metals (gold, silver) and copper/zinc sulfide ores
- Excellent selectivity against pyrite and other impurity minerals in alkaline pulp
- Stable foam characteristics for easier flotation operation and control
- Good water solubility and dispersibility for convenient onsite application
- Strong adaptability for various complex sulfide ore types
