Product Description:

Industrial-grade monoammonium phosphate, known as ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and abbreviated as TMAP, has a chemical formula NH₄H₂PO₄ and a molecular weight of 115.03. This substance is typically a white powder or granular material, with granular products having high particle compressive strength. It has a melting point of 190℃, a density of 1.803 at 18℃, and a solubility of 41.6 g/100g at 25℃. The pH of a 1% aqueous solution is 4.5.

It is readily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, and insoluble in dimethyl ketone. Monoammonium phosphate remains stable at room temperature, lacking redox properties, and is non-combustible or explosive when exposed to high temperatures, acids, alkalis, or redox substances. It has good solubility in water and acids, although the powdered form exhibits some hygroscopic properties. In addition, it possesses remarkable thermal stability and dehydrates at elevated temperatures to produce viscous chain compounds like ammonium pyrophosphate, ammonium polyphosphate, and ammonium metaphosphate.

Applications:

In industry, mainly used as a fire-prevention agent for fabric, timber and paper, as well as a fire-prevention coating, and dry powder for fire extinguisher.

In agriculture, mainly used as a high effective non-chloride N, P compound fertilizer. Its total water soluble, high effective drip irrigation fertilizer. Can be used all kind of food crops and economical crops. Its total nourishment (N+P2O5) is at 73%, and may be used as a basic raw material for N, P and K compound fertilizer.
