PolyDADMAC is a high-purity, water-soluble cationic polymer belonging to the polyquaternary ammonium compound family. It is renowned for its exceptional charge density and effectiveness as a primary coagulant and organic flocculant. This product is specially formulated to neutralize negatively charged colloidal particles in water, facilitating rapid floc formation, improving clarification, and enhancing filtration processes across numerous industrial and municipal applications.

Typical Applications
  • Drinking Water & Municipal Treatment: As a primary coagulant for clarifying surface water (rivers, lakes, reservoirs) to meet potable water standards.

  • Wastewater Treatment: Used in primary and secondary clarification to remove BOD, COD, TSS, and phosphates from industrial and municipal wastewater.

  • Industrial Process Water: Clarification of water for use in manufacturing, cooling towers, and boiler feed systems.

Dosage and Preparation
Liquid grade make up
Prepare solution at 0.5 to 5 percent by solids before dosing into coagulation or sludge lines.
Powder grade make up
Prepare solution at 0.5 to 10 percent by solids allow complete dissolution before use.
Optimization
Confirm dose by jar testing using actual influent. Select injection point and mixing to achieve fast dispersion without floc breakage.
Pairing program
Use alone as primary coagulant or combine with polyaluminum coagulants when higher color or NOM removal is required.
