Advanced Flocculant Technology Transforms Sand Washing Operations Nonionic Polyacrylamide Manufacturer
-
Revolutionary Water Recycling Solution Cuts Costs by 40% for Sand Processing Industry by OYIPOLYMER breakthrough results in sand washing wastewater remediation using its tailored polyacrylamide technology. A recent implementation at Lincol Silica Sand Operation demonstrates how advanced flocculant systems can eliminate wastewater discharge while reducing water acquisition costs by 65%.
-
The mining sector faces intensifying pressure to minimize freshwater consumption and eliminate process discharge. Traditional sand washing operations consume 3-5 cubic meters of water per ton of product, with inefficient clarification creating logistical and environmental challenges.
Economic advantages
- 40-60% reduction in water-related operating costs.
- 12-18 month return on investment from water/sludge savings
- Reduced downtime from water shortages or discharge violations

Primary Effects
Instruction of polyacrylamide
- Before using, dissolve polyacrylamide with tap water at a ratio of 0.1%-0.5% and stir until fully dissolved.
- Do not use iron materials to stir or hold PAM, because the reaction performance of PAM will decrease when it encounters iron.
- The dosage needs to be calculated through laboratory pilot tests, with the aim of achieving the aggregation of flocs and presenting the phenomenon of sludge-water separation.
- It is better to use up the prepared PAM solution within 24 hours.
- Products should be stored in unopened package in a dry atmosphere at temperature no higher than 35℃.
