Hayes Style Wire Tightener Description

Galvanized frame and aluminum cog. A spring wire keeps the strap down and cog from accidentally unspooling. To unload for fence repairs, use tightener handle to take pressure off strap, flip the strap the opposite way and ease out the reserve wire. It is always a good idea when building your fences to keep a little extra wire on your strainer for future repairs. This can save you time!

An in-line wire strainer allows you to keep up to 4,000 feet of high tensile wire tight by allowing you to re-tension the wire whenever it is required.
