Q: What is the essential difference between carbon ceramic brake discs and ordinary cast iron brake discs?

A: Cast iron discs are made of metal with low cost and mature technology, but they are heavy, prone to rust, susceptible to fade at high temperatures, and easy to deform or vibrate.
