Resin bond diamond grinding wheel is a high-efficiency precision grinding tool that combines the superhard properties of diamond and the elasticity of resin and is widely used in the field of high-precision machining. Generally consists of a matrix, a binder and an abrasive layer. The substrate is usually made of aluminum alloy or steel to ensure structural strength and facilitate installation; the binder is usually phenolic resin, epoxy resin or polyimide, which provides elasticity and has a low curing temperature to avoid thermal damage to the diamond; the abrasive layer is made of a mixture of diamond particles and resin binder, and the diamond particle size can be adjusted according to demand (from coarse grinding to super fine grinding).

1. Cutting Tool and Tool Grinding
Used for grooving, form relief grinding, peripheral grinding, face grinding, and clearance grinding of drills, milling cutters, reamers, and hobs made from materials such as High-Speed Steel (e.g., M2, M35) and alloy steels.
2. Processing of Glass and Hard, Brittle Non-Metallic Materials
Suitable for the precision grinding and polishing of high-hardness non-metallic materials, including glass, gemstones, and semiconductor wafers (for thinning applications).
3. Precision Face and Internal Grinding
Enables machining on CNC face grinders to achieve flatness and parallelism tolerances within the micron range; applicable to automotive components, compressor assemblies, gears, and similar parts.
4. Capable of processing high-viscosity or high-hardness materials, such as cast iron, stainless steel, plastics, and corundum.
5. Mirror Polishing and Medical Device Processing
Ultra-fine-grain (D50 < 10 μm) resin-bonded CBN grinding wheels are utilized for the mirror-finish grinding of artificial joints (made from TC4 titanium alloy), achieving a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.05 μm and meeting biosafety standards.
