The plates have been extensively tested and have passed a variety of tests including:

  • 4 Shots of 7.62x63mm (.30 M2AP)
  • 4 Shots of 7.62x51AP Nato
  • 6 Shots of 7.62x51mm Nato Ball
  • 6 Shots of 5.56x45 SS109
  • 6 Shots of 7.62x39MSC (AK47)

Enhanced Trauma Protection: Boron Carbide Armour

The unique construction of these plates offers the user a very increased level of blunt trauma protection. Typical back face signatures (BFS) for the Level IV threat are 28mm, 7.62x51AP of 22mm and 5.56x45 SS109 of 3mm.
