Centrifugal Separation Desander: Anti-Reflux Design for Sand Impurity Removal & Complete Slag Flushing
1.Work principle:
This desander adopts the centrifugal separation principle to isolate and eliminate sand and mixed contaminants. Its eccentric feed pipe directs the slurry to form a downward spiral flow; the flow reverses direction to rise at the conical section before being ultimately discharged.
Powered by centrifugal force and gravity, impurities gradually settle into the bottom slag collection hopper. The integrated anti-reflux components prevent the re-entrainment of separated impurities, and accumulated residues can be fully rinsed away by activating the manual on-off valve.
2. Description of Desander :
This sand-separating dewatering cyclone removes sand and sediment from crushed starch, cassava and potato slurries, and is commonly employed in a wide range of starch processing industries.
3 .Features and benefits:
- CE-certified and compliant with European safety standards for guaranteed operational safety.
- Fixed frame structure with no moving parts minimizes failure risks and extends equipment service life.
- Outstanding wear resistance renders it ideal for long-term processing of high-impurity slurries.
- Excellent sand removal efficiency ensures premium performance and high-purity slurry discharge.
