The working principle of the clutch master cylinder can be simply described as follows: when the clutch pedal is pressed, the push rod will push the master cylinder piston, increasing the oil pressure. The increased oil pressure is transmitted to the cylinder through a hose, and the cylinder rod further pushes the separation fork, pushing the separation bearing forward. This process achieves the disengagement of the clutch. When the clutch pedal is released, the hydraulic pressure is released, and the release fork returns to its original position under the action of the return spring, and the clutch is in the engaged state. The clutch master cylinder is the part connected to the clutch booster through an oil pipe, and its main function is to separate the clutch through the booster.
In order to maintain the normal operation of the clutch master cylinder, some routine maintenance is required. Firstly, it is necessary to inject hydraulic oil into the pump. Secondly, it is necessary to loosen the air release bolt and push the piston to release the air inside the pump. This ensures that there are no bubbles inside the pump and the flow of hydraulic oil is smoother. Finally, it is necessary to secure the air release bolt.
