Installation Process
The basic steps of unidirectional carbon fiber fabric project operation:
- Concrete surface preparation, crack repair, leak stop, removal of aged, loose concrete parts
- Brush primer (0.2-0.4kg/m²)
- Base surface preparation (putty 1.0-1.5kg/m²)
- Brush epoxy resin on the surface (0.4-0.5kg/m²)
- Stick the carbon fiber fabric onto structure
- Saturate the fabric by brushing epoxy resin along the fabric, ensuring no bubbles exist in the composite matrix (very crucial) 0.1-0.2kg/m²
- If more following carbon fiber fabric layers, brush 4-6 times each layer
- FRP wrap operation is completed, however, keep the structure from any impact during the following 24 hours

Carbon Fiber Fabric is made of carbon fiber woven in unidirectional, plain weaving or twill weaving styles. The carbon fibers we use feature high strength-to-weight and stiffness-to-weight ratios. Carbon fabrics are thermally and electrically conductive and exhibit excellent fatigue resistance. When properly engineered, carbon fabric composites can achieve the strength and stiffness of metals at significant weight savings. Carbon fabrics are compatible with various resin systems including epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resins.
