Product Description
The main function of the VVT valve (Variable Timing Valve System) is to adjust the intake and exhaust volumes, as well as the opening and closing times and angles of the valves, based on the operating conditions of the engine, so as to achieve the optimal intake of air and enhance combustion efficiency.
The VVT valve regulates the intake timing by controlling the oil pressure, thereby adjusting the overlap time and timing of the engine's intake and exhaust systems. This technology can reduce fuel consumption and enhance engine efficiency. The working principle of the VVT valve is based on the duty cycle signal provided by the engine ECU to control the left and right movement of the spool valve, thereby controlling the direction of the oil passage to the camshaft. If the direction of the lubricating oil flowing out is the same as the rotation direction of the camshaft timing gear, the valve opening time will be advanced. Conversely, it will be delayed.
