Activation Methods
Automatic Activation: Thermal detection triggers at 183-185°C, releasing extinguishing agents and activating cooling water for two minutes.
Manual Activation: Personnel can manually trigger the system via safety pin removal or button press when automatic systems fail.
Mechanical Emergency Activation: Direct operation of drive valve handle when other methods fail.
System Components
- Temperature Detector: Fusible alloy or glass bulb sensors activate at 160-260°C
- Fire Suppressant Cylinder: Stores specialized wet chemical fire suppressant
- Release Valve: Automatically discharges suppressant through piping
- Manual Activation Device: Emergency button for personnel activation
- Nozzle/Spray Pipe: Ensures even distribution over fire sources
- Control Unit: Automatically shuts off gas/power and activates suppressant release

Working Principle
Oxygen Deprivation: Agents displace oxygen to smother flames
Temperature Reduction: Water mist and wet chemicals absorb heat energy
Chemical Reaction Interruption: Specialized agents create saponification layer to prevent re-ignition
