Working Principle & Key Features
  • Rigid Frame Stranding Cage: Multiple reels mounted on a robust, non-back-twisting frame rotate to twist copper wires onto cable cores, forming dense, round armor layers
  • Copper Wire Armoring: Accommodates copper wires (1.5-5 mm Ø) for both round and sector-shaped conductors, compatible with complex cable core configurations
  • High Speed & Productivity: Advanced models achieve cage speeds up to 230 rpm and line speeds of 55-70 m/min for medium and large-section cable production
  • Precise Tension Control: Independent tension systems with magnetic brakes, hysteresis, or dancer arms managed by PLC ensure uniform lay length and prevent defects
  • Integrated Line Components: Complete system includes central pay-off, rigid armoring cage, closing die, dual capstan, meter counter, and shaftless take-up with traversing
