Main Structure:

The drum ash cooler consists of drum, rotating system, drive system, ash falling device, ash discharge device, cooling water system and electric control device. The main structure and functions are as follows:

Drum: it is composed by the inner drum and outer drum, and form an enclosed water cavity together with rotary joint and water return pipe. The inner wall of the inner drum has welded with spiral-arranged screw blades and longitudinal blades, which can transfer the heat of slag to the circulating cooling water by thermal conduction, convection and radiation.

The drum is the major working part of the drum ash cooler, and the ash cooler can be divided into GTL series single drum ash cooler and GTLS series multi-tube screening drum ash cooler according to the structure of the drum.

Rotating system: it is composed of supporting ring, supporting wheel, and catch wheel. The supporting ring is installed in the outside of the drum, which is driven by the driving mechanism to push the drum rotating on the four supporting wheels. The height of the drum can be set by adjusting the supporting wheel. The catch wheel can limit the axial displacement of the drum.
