1.1 Equipment Application This equipment is designed to simulate the ultraviolet radiation and condensation found in natural sunlight, facilitating accelerated weathering tests on materials to assess their durability. It is capable of simulating various environmental conditions characteristic of natural climates—including UV exposure, rainfall, high temperatures, high humidity, condensation, and periods of darkness. By reproducing these conditions and integrating them into a single cycle, the system executes the specified number of cycles automatically.
1.2 Applicable Standards Applicable standards include: ASTM G154 (Standard Practice for Operating Fluorescent Ultraviolet Lamp Apparatus for Exposure of Nonmetallic Materials); GB/T 16422.3 (Plastics—Methods of Exposure to Laboratory Light Sources); GB/T 16585 (Vulcanized Rubber—Artificial Weathering Test Method: Fluorescent UV Lamp); and other related standards.
