About Carbonless Base Paper
Chemical Imaging Principle:
CB Side (back of the top sheet): Coated with colorless dye (microcapsules).
CF Side (front of middle/bottom sheets): Coated with a developer.
Pressure from writing or printing ruptures the microcapsules, bringing the colorless dye into contact with the developer, causing a chemical reaction that produces the image.
