1. Forward curved impeller: the Angle between the airflow direction and the linear velocity direction of the blade is an acute Angle.
Features: Low speed, large air volume, low static pressure (relatively backward tilt, backward bend impeller), simple forming process, low cost. Too high speed of the front bend impeller will cause motor overload, so the fan using the front bend impeller is not allowed to run without load.

2, Backward curved impeller: the Angle of the airflow direction and the linear velocity direction of the blade is obtuse Angle, and the blade is in the form of straight plate.
Features: High speed, wide speed range, small air volume, high static pressure, but load, high efficiency. (Compared with the forward bending impeller)

3, Backward inclined impeller: the Angle between the airflow direction and the linear velocity direction of the blade is obtuse Angle, and the blade is a curved form.
Features: High speed, larger air volume (larger than the backward impeller), higher static pressure, higher efficiency, but load. The fan performance of the backbend impeller is very similar to that of the backward tilt impeller, but the backbend impeller has higher efficiency, more stable performance and more difficult processing technology. It is widely used in the field of high pressure fan.

The impeller is to transform the mechanical energy of the prime mover into static pressure energy and dynamic pressure energy of the working fluid.
