The active ingredient of PrGV.Bt biological pesticide is PrGV (pieris rapae granulosis virus) and Bt (Bacillus thuringiensis). PrGV is a low-toxic, obligate insecticidal thorn of microbial origin. It is a non-pollution biological pesticide, mainly for gastric toxicity.

Working Mechanism

After insects feed the pesticide, Bacillus thuringiensis first role in insect midgut cells, reducing the insect's immune system, making it easier for insects to get infected with the PrGV. The PrGV then enters the body and carry bulk copy and reproduction, and soon spread rapidly to each part of pests body. The pests will lose the ability to harm crop.
