TDS Meter, Water Quality Tester GM767
Product Description
The TDS Meter is designed to measure the filtration effectiveness of water purifiers on dissolved solids. After reverse osmosis filtration, the TDS level in tap water decreases significantly. TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) indicates the concentration of dissolved solids in water, measured in milligrams per liter (mg/L) or PPM. This includes non-volatile salts, organic substances, and insoluble particles that pass through filters (as per GB/T 5750.4-2006 standards).

TDS Value Interpretation
| TDS Range (PPM) |
Water Quality |
| 0~50 |
High purity |
| 51~100 |
Relatively high purity |
| 101~300 |
May cause scale formation |
| 301~600 |
Serious scale formation |
| 601~1000 |
Poor taste |
| >1001 |
Not suitable for drinking |
Note: When the TDS value exceeds 999, the reading is displayed using a *10 multiplier.
Key Insight: Generally, lower TDS values indicate fewer dissolved solids and purer water quality. Soluble calcium and magnesium salts are the primary components responsible for scale formation.
