Z-Type Bucket Elevator
A material conveying device that combines horizontal conveying and vertical lifting, named for its Z-shaped configuration between inlet and outlet positions.
Working Principle
The reducer drives bucket and chain movement via bearings. Buckets follow an approximate Z-shaped trajectory with the chain. Materials enter through the feed inlet, are lifted to the top, then turn downward around the top wheel to discharge into the receiving trough. The system supports single-point or multi-point unloading via the discharge mechanism.
Structural Composition
- Lifting buckets: Core component made from welded plates offering lightweight construction, high strength, and wear resistance
- Chain system: Drives bucket movement
- Transmission assembly: Powers chain operation via motor
- Enclosure: Includes protective casing and covers
