This specialized testing apparatus is designed for conducting horizontal and vertical movement tests on kettles according to IEC 60335-2-15 standards. The equipment ensures precise evaluation of kettle durability under repeated movement stresses.

IEC 60335-2-15 Compliant Kettle Movement Test Apparatus with 400 mm Pivot Distance and 5 mm Rubber Thickness

For movement tests, the kettle is securely attached to the apparatus at its handle grip area, maintaining proper balance with the spout oriented radially outward. The clamping system features a 5mm thick rubber interface with 50 Shore ± 10 Shore hardness for accurate testing conditions.

The apparatus performs two distinct test protocols:

  • Horizontal Movement Test: 90° arc movement repeated 2,500 times at 10 cycles per minute
  • Vertical Movement Test: 120° pouring motion repeated 5,000 times at 10 cycles per minute

The system verifies that kettles, handles, and their securement means maintain structural integrity without breakage, cracking, or loosening during testing.
