Testing Configuration & Procedure
This metal screen testing apparatus is designed for evaluating heating elements and internal wiring samples according to IEC 60335-2-17 standards.
  • Accommodates samples of at least 150 mm in length
  • Features a grid inclined at 45° angle for testing
  • Grid constructed with parallel 0.6 mm diameter wires spaced 20 mm apart
  • Sample placement perpendicular to horizontal wires, centered between wires
  • Secondary grid of similar size placed on sample with horizontal wires offset 10 mm from primary grid
  • Both grids remain parallel to the sample and properly aligned
