The KMS-Z2501 is designed for unattended access control in high security areas . Its full height design ( over 2 metres ) with a rotating gate structure prevents climbing over from above or crawling through from below . The gaps between the bars are narrower than a person ‘ s width – a single person per lane , physically blocking unauthorised entry . The all steel outdoor structure is impact resistant and corrosion resistant , suitable for harsh construction site environments ( dust , muddy water , high temperatures , heavy rain ) . The system employs an infrared light grid combined with high precision sensors to monitor the number of passing individuals in real time – one valid authentication allows only one person to pass . If anyone attempts to follow closely behind , the turnstile sounds an alarm and locks . It can be configured to trigger an alarm and notify security personnel when passage is attempted without any authentication .
