This product is specifically designed for the cooling system of the BYD Qin Pro EV (including pure electric and new energy versions). It is a critical coolant storage and pressure balancing component installed in the engine compartment—the coolant reservoir tank (also known as the expansion tank). The coolant reservoir tank acts as the "reservoir" and "pressure regulator" of the cooling system, responsible for storing and replenishing coolant. When the cooling system temperature rises, the expanding coolant flows into the tank; when the temperature drops, the coolant is drawn back into the radiator and cooling circuits, maintaining pressure balance in the cooling system and preventing coolant loss or overflow. It is a core component ensuring stable thermal management of the electric motor, battery pack, and electronic control system.

The BYD Qin Pro EV is an important member of BYD's pure electric vehicle lineup, equipped with BYD's self-developed permanent magnet synchronous motor and blade battery/ternary lithium battery pack, adopting an independent multi-circuit cooling system design. Pure electric vehicles have extremely strict thermal management requirements, with core components such as the battery pack, drive motor, motor controller, and on-board charger all requiring precise temperature control. The Qin Pro EV's cooling system typically features multiple coolant circuits, with several coolant reservoir tanks located in the engine compartment for the battery cooling circuit and the motor/electronic control cooling circuit respectively. The coolant appears pink in color, and the fluid level must be maintained between the "MAX" and "MIN" markings.
