The BYD Destroyer 05 adopts BYD's latest "Ocean Aesthetics" design concept with a simple, stylish interior. One of the most striking design elements is the rotary shifter located at the center of the center console, officially called the "Ocean Heart" control panel. The rotary shifter replaces the traditional electronic gear lever, optimizing cabin space while enhancing technological appeal and visual aesthetics. The P gear uses a push-button design to reduce the possibility of accidentally engaging P gear, while commonly used physical buttons for driving mode switching, EV/HEV switching, and other functions are retained around the rotary knob for quick driver operation.

The shifter panel frame serves as the mounting base for the shifter mechanism, located at the center of the center console – a key cover panel in the cockpit's main operating area. Depending on vehicle configuration, the Destroyer 05 features a 12.8-inch or 15.6-inch floating center display, with the shifter panel, center display, and A/C vents forming the complete cockpit interface. The panel frame is typically injection-molded from modified PP/ABS engineering plastic with a black matte or high-gloss finish, consistent with interior style.

In daily use, the shifter panel frame is frequently touched by the driver's hand and is prone to scratches, impacts, and wear – making it a commonly replaced component in interior repairs and refurbishment.
Strictly developed to original Destroyer 05 OE specifications, with rotary knob mounting holes, clip holes, and panel contours precisely matching the original 1:1. Compatible with all 2022-2025 Destroyer 05 models, including 55KM/120KM range versions and Champion Edition.

According to design information, the Destroyer 05 features a "T"-shaped cockpit layout with a rotary shifter at the center console and physical buttons retained on both sides. The shifter panel frame integrates with the center console, cup holders, and wireless charging pad to form the complete center console operating area.
The panel frame is manufactured from high-quality ABS engineering plastic via injection molding, offering excellent surface hardness and wear resistance to resist scratches and wear from daily use. UV stabilizers are added to prevent fading or gloss loss under long-term use. The surface features black matte/high-gloss finish consistent with original interior style.
