As a professional precision machining factory, we proudly present the Oil Drain Plug (Oil Sump Bolt) designed specifically for BYD Song MAX / Qin PLUS series vehicles.

This bolt is a small but critical component located at the bottom of the engine oil pan, used to drain old oil during maintenance. Targeting the characteristics of BYD 476ZQA and BYD472QA engines, we manufacture this plug using high-strength 40Cr steel or 7075 aluminum via precision turning, ensuring thread tolerance meets Grade 6g standards to effectively prevent thread stripping or leakage.

The upgraded version is equipped with a high-strength ring magnet. During engine operation, the magnet actively captures ferrous wear particles (iron dust/shavings) suspended in the oil, reducing secondary engine wear and significantly extending the life of the turbocharger and core components. Each plug comes standard with a copper or composite sealing washer for double protection.

Installation Instructions

• Preparation:Warm up the engine slightly for better oil flow. Use a 17mm socket wrench.

• Drain:Loosen the old plug counterclockwise to drain old oil completely.

• Clean:Wipe off any protective oil from the new plug and magnetic particles.

• Install:Always replace the sealing washer. Hand-tighten first to avoid cross-threading, then torque to 25 N·m (Do NOT over-tighten) .

• Test:Add new oil, run the engine, and visually check for leaks.
