24GHz Digital Display FMCW Dual mmWave Barrier Gate Radar Detector
A 24GHz digital display barrier gate radar detector is a device that uses millimeter-wave radar to detect vehicles and pedestrians, replacing traditional loop detectors for automatic barrier gates. It offers advanced, maintenance-free operation with features like adjustable sensitivity, vehicle/pedestrian detection, and all-weather performance, while its "digital display" function refer to an integrated display on some models for showing the status, or simply the digital processing behind the detection itself.

How it works
  • Radar technology:
    Uses 24GHz millimeter-wave radar to sense motion and object presence.

  • Detection:
    Can detect various vehicle types (cars, trucks, motorcycles) and people, regardless of height or weight.

  • Anti-smashing:
    Prevents the barrier arm from falling on a vehicle or person by detecting them in the danger zone.

Installation Specifications
  • Use a low-noise 12VDC 1A power adapter for independent power supply
  • For barrier mode, connect radar and gate controller power supplies to common ground
  • When using gate controller power, ensure 12V output with ≥250mA current
  • Optimal mounting height: 50-60cm for small car parks (adjustable for larger parks)
  • Minimum clearance from fence pole: 20cm for octagonal, 25cm for right-angle fences
  • Mounting surface must be perpendicular to horizontal plane with secure fixation
  • Maintain flat, obstacle-free ground in detection area
  • Use road blocks when vehicle approach angle exceeds 30°
