Product Description:
Screw feeders, also known as screw conveyors, scraper conveyors, and bucket conveyors, are types of conveying equipment. Their primary components include a feeding hopper, feeding screw, and transmission mechanism.
Working Principle:
The screw feeder utilizes a weighing bridge to measure the weight of the conveyed material, determining its weight on the tape. A digital speed sensor located at the tail continuously monitors the feeder's operating speed. The speed sensor's pulse output correlates with the feeder's speed, with both the speed and weight signals being transmitted to the feeding controller. The controller's microprocessor processes these signals to calculate and display the cumulative quantity and instantaneous flow rate. The flow rate is then compared to the preset flow rate, and the control instrument's output signal adjusts the frequency converter to modify the feeder's drive speed. This adjustment ensures that the material flow rate aligns closely with the desired feed flow rate, thereby achieving precise quantitative feeding.
