Drum Gear Coupling
Drum Gear Coupling,It is composed of two drum shaped outer gear sleeve and a pair of straight teeth inner gear ring and other parts. The torque is transmitted by the meshing of the inner and outer teeth, and the relative deviation of the two transmission axes is compensated by the swing of the axis of the inner ring of the straight teeth by the drum shaft sleeve (called angular displacement). The greater the drum degree in the tooth length direction, the greater the angular displacement, up to 6 ", generally recommended 1°30' -3°(sample product according to 1°30' design).
Due to the drum degree of the tooth length direction, the tooth pair contact is better, so the drum gear coupling has the characteristics of large transmission capacity, large angular displacement, smooth transmission, high efficiency, long life and so on. Widely used in metallurgical machinery, heavy machinery, mining machinery, lifting machinery, transport machinery and other transmission.
