High Strength Excavator Grapple Bucket / Mechanical Grapple Bucket
What is a Mechanical Grapple?
A mechanical grapple is mounted to the dipper end and bucket link with standard hangers, allowing it to be used in conjunction with a quick hitch. The upper, moveable jaw pivots on the dipper end and is opened and closed by the bucket link in the same way that a standard bucket is operated.
Mounting & Installation
The lower, fixed jaw is connected by a thrust bar to a 3-position bracket welded on the underside of the dipper arm. Each grapple is supplied complete with thrust bar, 3-position bracket, and pivot pins. All grapples feature standard hangers for mounting to both the dipper end and bucket link, making them compatible with quick hitch systems.
Applications
Demolition of wooden structures, scrap handling, cleaning, moving, loading, sorting, and organizing materials in order.
