Description
Aitemag® magnesium hydroxide is a flame retardant product line with ultrafine particle size and enhanced performance-to-cost balance, produced using world-leading manufacturing technologies. All Aitemag products comply with REACH and RoHS requirements. When used to formulate flame retardant polymers, the Aitemag product provides superior flame retarding and smoke suppression properties. Depending on the polymer system and fire performance requirements, one may choose an Aitemag product of proper characteristics to achieve optimized application performance for the flame retardant compound.

Aitemag 18FM is a high purity magnesium hydroxide that is treated with a coupling silane to provide easy dispersion and enhanced compounding rheology. This product is designed for use in thermoplastic and cross-linked polyolefins, elastomeric polymers such as SEBS and PU. It can also be used in polyamide 6, polyamide 66 and HIPS. Aitemag 18FM provides good mechanical properties, low-temperature performance, and excellent electrical and rheology properties.
