Red Date Pulp Process

1. Descriptions

a small, round fruit that has been cultivated in China for thousands of years. It is highly valued for its nutritional and medicinal properties

  • Classify:

    • red date after harvested from acai palm trees they by drum washer to classify .

  • Cleaning:

    • date by bubble waher to get flush and clean, bigger capacity could wash twice

  • Preheater:

    • date are soaked in water to soften the pulp.
    • to easy get pulp, the berry should soften first by steam. screw or chain type both fine

  • De-stoner and pulp finisher:

    • The softened dates are then pressed to separate the pulp from the seeds.
    • after stone remove, by pulp finisher to better process and get clear puree

  • Pasteurization:

    • The extracted pulp is heated to kill any harmful microorganisms and extend shelf life.
    • by tubular structure, with heating holding cooling process to achieve heat exchange

  • Packaging:

    • The pasteurized pulp is then packaged into containers, like 10L bag in box, PET bottle.
    • typically in the form of frozen puree, to preserve its nutrients and flavor.
