1. Descriptions

Acai berries are small, dark purple fruits that grow on the acai palm tree, native to the Amazon rainforest in Brazil.
They have gained popularity as a superfood due to their high antioxidant content and potential health benefits.

  • Harvest:

    • Acai berries after harvested from acai palm trees they by drum washer to classify .

  • Cleaning:

    • Berries by bubble waher to get flush and clean, bigger capacity could wash twice

  • Precooking:

    • Berries are soaked in water to soften the pulp.
    • to easy get pulp, the berry should soften first by steam. screw or chain type both fine

  • De-stoner and pulp finisher:

    • The softened berries are then pressed to separate the pulp from the seeds.

  • Pasteurization:

    • The extracted pulp is heated to a specific temperature for a set period to kill harmful microorganisms without significantly affecting the nutritional content.

  • Homogenization (Optional)

    • The pasteurized pulp is homogenized to ensure a consistent texture and prevent separation during storage

  • Pakcage and freeze storage

    • Process: The packaged pulp is quickly frozen to preserve its freshness, nutritional content, and flavor.
      The pasteurized pulp is then packaged into containers, like 10L bag in box, PET bottle.
    • Blast freezers or IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) systems.
